Phi Delta Kappa Shreveport-Bossier Chapter 1213, thanks all of the applicants for submitting grants this school year. We offer congratulations to Honey Martin of W. T. Lewis Elementary for winning the 2010 Mini-Grant Competition with her project “Mapping the Write Way.”  Second grade students will use Neighborhood Map Machine software to improve ELA/Writing/Social Studies skills.

The netbook, software, iPod, and the cart were purchased for 2nd grade to incorporate geography and writing.  This center will be used by the students.
