Partners in Education - a) Recognizing a business, agency, or other organization for exemplary support of public education.
b) Recognize an individual outside the professional education community for exemplary support of public education.
Bobby Tabarlet Memorial Award - presented to an individual who exemplifies his or her love of our profession through daily
work, and relationships with others in a positive, upbeat way while commited to academic excellence, credibility, and professionalism.
Joseph D. Garner Leadership Award - Honoring an individual educator whose professional career exemplified the highest traditions
of leadership to which PDK is detected.
Earl McKenzie Memorial Award - This award is named in honor of Earl McKenzie, a Kappan who exemplified the highest ideals of PDK.
The award is presented to a PDK member who exhibits these qualities.
Service Key - Is a chapter award of PDK that can be given to members who are currently in good standing and who meet specified qualifications.
An application form must be certified by the chapter with which the applicant is affiliated. To be eligible for the Service Key, a member must meet the
following requirements: Contributed meritorious service, outstanding leadership, or significant research to PDK; and the member must have at least
seven years of good-standing membership preceding the date of application.
